The attitude of life

The longer I live, the more I realize the profound impact of attitude on life. To me, attitude is more important than facts. It outweighs the past, education, money, circumstances, failures, successes, and even the opinions or actions of others. It surpasses appearance, natural talent, or skill. Attitude has the power to make or break a company, a church, or a home. What’s truly remarkable is that we have a choice every single day regarding the attitude we will embrace. We cannot change the past. We cannot change how others behave or control the inevitable. The only thing we truly have control over is the one string we can play: our attitude. I am deeply convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. And the same goes for you—we are all in charge of our attitudes.
