Life under the Shade of waterfall

Life under the shade of a waterfall doesn’t always seem ideal. The water hits you, splashes across your face, and, at times, feels overwhelming—like it might even drag you under. This can only happen when you’re not fully prepared to embrace the experience.

Yesterday, I went on a picnic with my friends. Our journey to the destination took about an hour or so. Once we arrived, we started scouting for a good spot that could accommodate all the stuff we brought along. After settling on a location, we got the fire going for a BBQ. Everything seemed to be going smoothly.

Then, the sun came out in full force, burning our skin—yes, I got sunburned. Too late for sunscreen! 😅

While sitting on a large rock rising above the surface, I found myself reflecting on the beauty of nature. It’s fascinating how, amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy town, you can find a serene and beautiful spot to relax. When we first reached the lower waterfall, it was packed with people. Thankfully, we decided to climb further upstream and found a quieter, more secluded area—just for us.

We ate, sang, and chatted with each other. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter echoing in the air. Among us were some beautiful girls and a handsome young guy, all enjoying this escape into nature. Moments like these bring peace and rejuvenation to the mind.

Being under the waterfall itself is a different experience altogether. You feel the force of the falling water, the thrill of swimming through it to reach the other side. It’s exhilarating yet risky. You have to struggle against the current, but the effort makes the experience even more rewarding.

I’d encourage everyone to try shading under a waterfall someday. It’s not just refreshing but a reminder that, in life, you often have to push through challenges to reach a place of peace and joy.
